At the end of October, the Búzios field in the Santos Basin surpassed the 1 million barrels of oil per day mark, becoming the second Brazilian field to achieve this volume. The field is operated by Petrobras via six units including FPSOs Almirante Tamandaré and Almirante Barroso in ultra-deep water.
