Petrobras and its subsidiary Transpetro are leading a series of strategic meetings this week between Brazilian and Chinese shipyards. The agenda, which has already passed through Rio de Janeiro and Pernambuco, now moves on to Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul, aiming to foster stronger industrial partnerships in Brazil’s shipbuilding sector.

This Friday (July 4), President Lula will take part in a ceremony marking the resumption of investments in refining and petrochemicals in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The event, held at the Reduc refinery in Duque de Caxias, will feature Petrobras CEO Magda Chambriard and other government officials. The announcement is expected to confirm more than R$ 33 billion in investments. Updates on renewable fuels, energy integration, and workforce development initiatives will also be shared.
