WSB and Camorim: LH Comandante

WSB Advisors carried out, this Wednesday (1/28), a technical visit to the Camorim shipyard, located on Ilha da Conceição, in Niterói. The WSB delegation was composed of Pedro Pellegrini (Shipbroker / Naval Engineer), Paulo Henrique Cantergiani (Market Intelligence Engineer), and Rafael Bortoloti (Media Relations).

The agenda was led by Lalesca Costa, Camorim’s commercial coordinator, who provided a detailed presentation of the shipyard’s infrastructure, its operations, and the company’s trajectory over three decades of activity in the naval sector.

During the visit, Lalesca highlighted the shipyard’s evolution, the company’s current moment, and its strategic plans for the coming years.

“Camorim was founded with a focus on its own fleet, but over time it expanded its operations, investing in infrastructure, people, and technology to also serve other companies in the sector. It was very productive to welcome WSB Advisors to our facilities and exchange experiences about the naval market,” says Lalesca.

The highlight of the program was the visit to the vessel LH Comandante, currently under an active seismic contract, with Petrobras as the end client.

With around 200 employees, the shipyard’s main focus is the naval repair of its own fleet, in addition to providing services to third parties. Camorim also operates two support bases in Guanabara Bay and is active in ports across seven Brazilian states.

In 2025, the company completed 30 years of operations, in a year marked by the conclusion of the delivery of five azimuth tugboats. Camorim was also responsible for supplying the barges used during Copacabana’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, a topic that will be featured in the next edition of One.Energy magazine.
