Petrobras has announced the final results of its tender for the charter of up to three Well Stimulation Support Vessels (WSSVs), initially launched in 2024. The selected contracts will have a fixed duration of 1,330 days – approximately three and a half years – with operations expected to begin in April 2027 or within 510 days from the contract signing date.
Three vessels have advanced to the final shortlist phase, one step before official contract award: the Stim Star, operated by Halliburton, the Blue Marlin and Blue Orca, both operated by Baker Hughes.
